Safety Town

Safety Town was provided through a grant from the Governors Highway Traffic and Safety Program.  Safety Town is a educational program designed to instruct the young children about street safety.  This program teaches with hands on experience, aspects of road signs, traffic lights, rail road crossings, and wheeled vehicles to pedal around the course. There is a small town set up throughout the course.  There are driveways and intersections along with one way streets and cross walks.   The children have a great time participating in this program.

3M Opticon  Priority Control System    3M Innovation

Opticom (TM) Priority Control System, 3M (TM) Using a coded, infared signal, the system gives any authorized vehicle - emergency or transit - the exclusive advantage of a green light to get through traffic quicker, smoother and safer.  Components include emitters, detectors, phase selectors and accessories. Includes 3M(TM) Visible Light Filter Lens for transit.
